The Fuhlbrigge laboratory is located in the Eugene Braunwald Research Center, adjacent to Harvard Medical School in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area. The primary interest of the Fuhlbrigge laboratory is investigation of the mechanisms regulating leukocyte homing to specific tissues under inflammatory and non-inflammatory conditions, with an emphasis on the recruitment to skin and skin-based malignancies. The Fuhlbrigge laboratory is affiliated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the Harvard Skin Disease Research Center (HSDRC) and the Dana Farber/ Harvard Cancer Center and provides service to the community through support of the HSDRC Leukocyte Migration Core and the Transgenic Mice and Animal Models Core. Dr. Fuhlbrigge is also a clinical Pediatric Rheumatologist and is involved in local and national clinical and translational research studies in pediatric inflammatory disorders through his affiliation with Children’s Hospital- Boston.
